Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since the delivery of your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your gemstone or jewelry item must be unused, unaltered, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging, including any certificate of authenticity, appraisal documents, or protective boxing it arrived in.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Customized or personalized jewelry (e.g., custom ring sizing, engraved items, or bespoke designs made on special order).

To complete your return, we require a receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase.

Note: Please do not send your purchase back to any external gemstone manufacturer or supplier. All returns must be processed directly through Ranagems.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable):

There are certain situations where only partial refunds or store credits are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts/certificates for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your returned gemstone or jewelry item is received and inspected by our gemologists, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the product and its original packaging/certificates.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment (such as PayPal or your original gateway) within a certain amount of business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your bank account once again to confirm the transaction status.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some business days before your refund is officially posted on your statement.
  3. Contact your bank directly. There is often an internal processing time required by financial institutions before a refund is visible in your account.

If you have completed all of these steps and you still have not received your refund, please contact us immediately at info@ranagems.ca.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items or promotional items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We take great care in inspecting and securely packaging our gemstones and jewelry before shipment. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

If you need to exchange it for the same unique item, please send us an email at info@ranagems.ca to initiate the process, and then send your item to our physical address:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the exact value of your return. Once the returned gemstone or jewelry item is received and inspected, a digital gift certificate or coupon code will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send the refund directly to the gift giver, and they will be notified about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your item to our physical address:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the actual cost of return shipping (if handled or pre-paid by us) will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your geographical location, the time it may take for your exchanged product or replacement jewelry to reach you may vary.

Important Note for High-Value Items: Since gemstones and jewelry are high-value goods, we strongly recommend using a reputable, trackable shipping service (like FedEx, UPS, or DHL) and purchasing full shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and Ranagems is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during the return process.
